SPRINKLER SYSTEM PRODUCT LINE

The sprinkler system components we install are state-of-the-art and very user-friendly.

There are 5 major components of a lawn sprinkler system:

1.  The CONTROLLER is the "brains" of your lawn sprinkler system.  It's usually located in the garage or basement.  With state-of-the-art sophistication made user friendly, you can regulate the watering of your lawn on an automatic schedule.

  • Versatile modular design
  • Large LCD display for simplified programming
  • Three programs with multiple start times
  • Choice of independent day scheduling options
  • Global water budget/seasonal adjustment
  • Non-volatile memory
  • Superior surge protection and self-diagnostic short circuit protection

2.  SPRINKLER HEADS are used to water your lawn efficiently and completely.  There are two types, and they're easily adjustable.

  • The "MIST HEAD" lays flush with the lawn then "pops-up" when in operation. This head is utilized to water the narrow lawn areas (0-19' width area) and/or planting beds. These heads are available in various pop-up heights and have nozzles that are interchangeable (angle and distance.)

  • The "GEAR DRIVE" rotor also lays flush with the lawn then "pops up."  This head is used to cover the large lawn areas (19'-30').  Gear Drive heads rotate silently, then retract back into the ground when the watering is complete.  They're also easy to adjust and they perform well even if you have low water pressure.

3.  The HUNTER MINI-CLIKŪ RAIN SENSOR is a device that saves water and extends irrigation system life by automatically measuring precipitation and shutting off the irrigation system during rainy conditions.  The sensor is usually located on the roof and it's adjustable with respect to sensitivity.

4.  The ELECTRICAL VALVE w/SOLENOID electronically opens and closes from a signal by the Controller.  It lets the water flow to the sprinkler heads.  They're buried underground in Valve Boxes flush with the level of the grass.

5.  The REDUCED PRESSURE PRINCIPLE BACKFLOW PREVENTER "RPZ Valve" protects your potable water from contamination. It is required by the State of New York and must be tested annually by a certificated inspector.
